What kind of fern was in the wonderful book WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS by Wilson Rawls set in Oklahoma?According to legend, only an angel could plant one.
I was thinking of titles and names as I often do when I write. In my first semester of fiction writing with Mary Clyde I learned a lot from her: the power of spare writing, and the ultimate importance of of the word in a one-word title. "Resurrection" was a story I drafted that became "Rings' Ring Finger." Without knowing anything else about the story, anyone care to comment on the one they like best--on the surface?
